Emcure Pharmaceuticals files DRHP for proposed Rs 4,500-Rs 5000 crore IPO

The Pune based pharmaceutical manufacturer – Emcure Pharma is planning to roll out an IPO for raising 4500 – 5000 crores, as per sources. The company has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI on August 19.

As per the document, the company plans to include a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 1100 Crores. The IPO will also include an OFS of 18,168,356 shares from the promoters and current shareholders.

Emcure pharma specializes in HIV antivirals, blood related and gynaec therapeutic areas, as per their sales data in India. Their product range includes injectables orals and biologics.

The company is also working on a new and updated Covid-19 vaccine which will help them expand their reach in over 70 countries. The company plans to utilize the raised capital for setting off a portion of its debts.
